4.1

Released

PII catches more, findings explain themselves.

DataDigger 4.1 adds smarter PII detection as your data comes in, so more personal data is caught and protected earlier. Findings also get a new pass of quality checks before they ship, the underlying models were upgraded, and a handful of rough edges around schedules, reports, and notifications are fixed.

New features

2 items

Added intelligent PII detection for data sources

Personal data is now recognised earlier and more broadly as your files and integrations are brought in, catching identifying columns that simple pattern matching alone would miss.

A new contact page

The marketing site now has a dedicated contact page with business details and a clear steer on what to reach out about — questions, feedback, or partnership inquiries.

Improvements

4 items

A new quality pass over every report before it ships

Reports now go through an additional round of quality checks before they're delivered, catching more issues before you ever see them.

Upgraded internal models

The AI models behind DataDigger's analysis were upgraded across the board.

Clearer caution and context notes on findings

The 'this may be a mix effect' and 'this is scale, not outperformance' notes that appear under some findings are now shown as their own callout instead of being appended to the main sentence, and reference columns by their plain-language name instead of the internal field name.

Schedule creation moved to its own page

Creating or editing a schedule now opens a dedicated page instead of a modal, matching how integrations are set up.

Bug fixes

4 items

Notification emails now show the right local time

Scheduled-run completion emails were showing raw UTC timestamps instead of the time zone schedules are authored and displayed in. Start and completion times are now converted before they reach the email.

Discovery run page no longer resets itself

A background session refresh could produce a new (but identical) user object on every check, which was enough to make the run page think something had changed and jump. Session refreshes that don't actually change anything no longer trigger that.

Charts in printed and downloaded reports no longer bleed off the page

Some charts kept the fixed pixel size they were rendered at on screen instead of scaling down to the printable page, so they ran off the right edge in PDF exports and print previews. Charts and their legends now scale to fit.

Replaced the spinning loader icon during analysis

The rotating sparkle shown while a discovery run is in progress is now a calmer pulsing indicator.
